Adjustable Stirrup Head
A head jack, an adjustable head jack, or a stirrup head is a type of supporting, lifter, construction equipment. Shuttering uses adjustable stirrup heads mainly for leveling and plumbing horizontal formwork. It consists of a U- or flat plate at the top, a base plate at the bottom, and a threaded rod. The adjustable stirrup heads should be capable of accepting beams or any other members in the structure. A stirrup head is a threaded rod that can slide up or down through a fabricated I-beam member holding up the formed beam.
