Cuplock Ledger – All Sizes, Specifications and Price

Cuplock ledgers are horizontal connecting tubes in a cuplock scaffolding system. They connect cuplock standards at the same height, provide lateral stability and support scaffold boards. Suncorp manufactures IS 2062 certified cuplock ledgers in all standard lengths at our Hyderabad facility.

What is the standard cuplock ledger spacing?
Standard cuplock ledger vertical spacing is 500mm, matching the cup spacing on cuplock standards. Horizontal bay width is typically 1.2m, 1.5m, 1.8m or 2.4m depending on load requirements.

What is the safe load on a cuplock ledger?
Standard cuplock ledgers support a working load of 2.0 kN per metre (200 kg/m) in a fully braced system. For higher loads, heavy duty 60.3mm diameter ledgers are available with working load up to 4.0 kN/m.

Cuplock Ledger - Complete Specifications, Sizes and Price Guide

Cuplock ledgers (also called horizontal ledgers or bay ledgers) are the horizontal connecting tubes in a cuplock scaffolding system. They connect cuplock standards at the same height level, provide lateral stability to the structure and support scaffold boards or walkway planks. Suncorp manufactures IS 2062 certified cuplock ledgers in all standard lengths at our Hyderabad facility.

What is the Safe Load on a Cuplock Ledger?

Standard cuplock ledgers support a working load of 2.0 kN/m (200 kg/m) in a fully braced cuplock scaffolding system. Maximum point load at midspan is 1.0 kN. For higher load applications such as concrete pours, heavy duty 60.3mm diameter ledgers are available with working load up to 4.0 kN/m.

What is the standard cuplock ledger spacing?
Standard cuplock ledger vertical spacing is 500mm, matching the cup spacing on cuplock standards. Horizontal bay width using ledgers is typically 1.2m, 1.5m, 1.8m or 2.4m depending on load requirements and access needs.
What is the difference between a cuplock ledger and a transom?
Cuplock ledgers run parallel to the face of the building (longitudinal direction). Transoms run perpendicular (across the building face) and support the scaffold boards. Both connect into the cup on the cuplock standard.
